Nelson Mandela: "African Gandhi" -- A Courageous Leader

We all know who is Nelson Mandela. He was African revolutionary who destroyed the partiality between black and white people of South Africa. He was born on 18th July, 1918 in the village of Mvezo in South Africa. His mother's name was Nosekeni and Gadla Henry. In his childhood, his parents kept the name "Rolihlahla" which meant "naughty". But his school teacher changed his name to "Nelson". He had completed his primary education in Clark Berry Missionary School. When Nelson Mandela was 12, his father died. He completed his further studies in Healdtown Collage. He had started fighting against the injustice for black from college only. He used to gather people, spread this message, due to which he was even removed from his college. The story of President of India: Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam

Today I am going to tell you a story about a boy who sold newspaper to earn money and now a days he is a role model for every young boy and girl. That boy's name is Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. His full name is A vul P akhir J ainulabdeen Apdul Kalam. He was born in a middle class Tamil family in the island town of Rameswaram Madras state. When he was a child of 8 years, second World war broke out, in 1939. That time his family left money and so he collected tamarind (eemli) seeds  and sell them to a provision shop on Mosque Street to earn one anna as the demand for tamarind was raised. As India was forced to join the World war 2 because of the British rule, his brother Shamsuddin now has to collect the bunches of newspaper that were thrown from the train. As he needed a helping hand Abdul Kalam filled this slot. In this way, Abdul Kalam's brother helped him to earn his first major wages.
